RESOLUTION NO. 89-12
BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED, by the City Council of North Richland
Hills, County of Texas, that said City election be called for the election
of four (4) Council persons to Places 1, 3, 5, and 7 for said City as
provided by the laws of the State of Texas.
Section 1. That said election be held on the 6th day of May,
1989, A.D., between the hours of seven o'clock a.m. and seven o'clock p.m.
Section 2. Qualified persons may file as candidates by filing
with the Mayor, in the office of the City Secretary, between the hours of
eight a.m. and five p.m., Monday through Friday, on or before March 22,
1989.
Section 3. Voting shall take place at the fo 11 owi ng locations for
the fOllowing voting precincts:
Precinct Nos. Polling Locations
3214, 3324, 3333, 3041, 3364,
& 3366 City Ha 11 - 7301 Northeast Loop 820
3215, 3140, 3326 & 3289 Fire Station - 6801 Glenview Drive
3209, 3063, 3049, 3177 & 3367 Fire Station - 8300 Starnes
Section 4. That the following named persons shall serve as
election officials:

and such clerks as may be needed and appointed by the Election Judge.

Section 5. Absentee voting shall commence April 17, 1989, at 8:00
a.m., and shall continue Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00
a.m. and 5:00 p.m. through May 2, 1989. Such absentee voting shall take
place in the office of the City Secretary in the City Hall. (The
Conference Room and the City Council Chambers shall be considered an
extension of the City Secretary's office for absentee voting.)
Section 6. All qualified voters residing within the corporate
limits of the City of North Richland Hills, County of Tarrant, State of
Texas, shall be entitled to vote at said election.

Section 7. The election shall be conducted pursuant to the
election laws of the State of Texas. The City Secretary is directed to
procure voting machines, if available, for the election on May 6, 1989, and
voting machines are hereby adopted as the method of voting at such election.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of North
Richland Hills this 27th day of February, 1989.
