RESOLUTION NO. 88-19
BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED, by the City Council of North Richland
Hills, County of Tarrant, State of Texas, that said City election be called
for the election of a Council Person to Place 5 to serve the unexpired term
of Dick Fisher, deceased, and a Council Person to Place 1 to serve the
unexpired term of Marie Hinkle who resigned.
Section 1. That said election be held on the 13th day of August,
1988, A.D., between the hours of seven o'clock a.m. and seven o'clock p.m.
Section 2. Qualified persons may file as candidates by filing
with the Mayor, in the office of the City Secretary, between the hours of
eight a.m. and five p.m., Monday through Friday, on or before July 13, 1988.
Section 3. Voting shall take place at the following locations for
the following voting precincts:

3214, 3324, 3333, 3364, 3366 & 3041
3215, 3140, 3326 & 3289
3209, 3063, 3049, 3177 & 3367
City Hall - 7301 Northeast Loop 820
Fire Station - 6801 Glenview Drive
Fire Station - 8300 Starnes
Section 4. That the following named persons shall serve as
election officials:

Sherry Arnold - City Hall - Glenview
and such clerks as may be needed and appointed by the Election Judge.

Section 5. Absentee voting shall commence July 25, 1988, at 8:00
a.m., and shall continue Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00
a.m. and 5:00 p.m. through August 9, 1988. Such absentee voting shall take
place in the office of the City Secretary in the City Hall.
Section 6. All qualified voters residing within the corporate
limits of the City of North Richland Hills, County of Tarrant, State of
Texas, shall be entitled to vote at said election.
Section 7. The election shall be conducted pursuant to the
election laws of the State of Texas. The City Secretary is directed to

procure voting machines, if available, for the election on August 13, 1988,
and voting machines are hereby adopted as the method of voting at such
election.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of North
Richland Hills this 5th day of July, 1988.
