NI£REAS, the l1ayor and of City Council of the City of North Richland Hills
recognize the n-.d for qual i ty youth sports progrlft; and
NI£REAS The National Youth Sports Caichn Association has developed a
certification progru for youth sports coach.. .......y the coaches are schooled in
psychology of coaching youth sports, ..xi.izin9 plrfaraence, injury prevention, and first
aid; and
HREAS, 11Mt Mltional Youth Sports Caich.. Association protru should be applied
to our prft8nt athl.t:ic progr.. to help iaprove coach/plNnt relationships, to educate
our vol unt... coaches 10 they haw a Ntter understanding of orpnizAtion, teaching proper
techniques, IIf.t:y, and to bring thaa up to . aare knottledtHble level in the
psychologic.1 and physic.1 nøds of .ating with young .thlet.., and to ensure a11
children obtain a wholnoae experience in youth sports; and
HREAS, through this certification prograa, the qUlI ity of youth sports in the
City of North Richland Hi11s will be iaproved to the benefit of a11 persons involved.
