ZONING Ordinance No. 269 - PUBLIC HF~ARING
PZ 6q-1_Q W. H. Long
Mayor Luper declared the City Council meeting in
public hearing to consider the case of W. H. Long
to rezone Tract 1 and Tract 2, 6.1~ acres, William
D. Barnes Survey from Agriculture to 1F-7 and
Commercial. Mr. W. H. Long, owner, appeared before
the City Council seeking approval of this zoning
from the City Council. I1pon a ca11 from the Mayor,
there was no one present to ask for denia.]_ of the
zoning. A~ayor Luper declared. the public hearing
closed. After discussion by the City Council and
the City Engineer, Councilman Dodson moved, seconded
by Councilman Cato, that the City Council. amend
Ordinance No. 26g to include the emergency clause.
The motion carried by a vote of 7-O. Councilman
Dodson moved, seconded by Councilman Faram, that the
City Council approve and adopt Ordinance No. 269,
as amended, to rezone Tract 1, T~+Tilliam D. Barnes
Survey as 1F-7 and Tract 2, William D. Barnes Survey
as Commercial. The motion carried by a vote of 7-O.
Ordinance ATO. 274 - FIRST RF,ADI1~ - PUBLIC HEARING
PZ 6q-16 Richland Enterprises, T_nc.
Mayor Luper declared the City Council meeting in
public hearing. NLr. Alar. Hamm, 7201 Riviera Drive,
appeared before the City Council asking for rezoning
of 10.77 acres out of the W. W. Wallace Survey from
ZF-9 to Multiple Family T><~relling. Upon a call from
the Mayor there was no one present opposing the
rezoning request. P~ayor Luper declared the public
hearing closed. Councilman Hubbard moved, seconded
by Councilman Faram, that the City Council add the
emergency clause to Ordinance No. 274. The motion
carried by a. vote of 6-0; Councilman Sandli.n
abstaining dtze to a stated interest in this project.
